I'm Kenneth.

Interestingly enough, this is probably my fifth attempt at blogging, and my very first time with Aminus3. Needless to say, the other four were rather spectacular failures.

I've realized that I'm not very good at writing out my thoughts. Neither can I sing, dance, make music, draw, paint... In fact, there's quite a lot of things that elude my desire for expression.

But I can take a few pictures. Yeah.

There are many blogs which chronicle, describe and sometimes inflame a person's life using words alone. Obviously, I seem to have quite some trouble with that notion, with four failed blogs to prove it. I find it quite strange to just "speak my mind", or "let it all hang". After all, I mean, I don't even know who I'm talking to on the other end of a blog; it could be an acquaintance, a close friend, unfriendly but close friends, Dad... or just the white cabinets behind this screen.

Which explains this photoblog. The photographs inside speak to no one in particular. So it doesn't really matter who reads or who doesn't - they are all the same to me. It takes a fair share of the pressure off my mind, conversing and "expressing" to a doubtful, ever-changing recipient.

Well, if we were to really push it, the photos sort of speak to me. I say "push it" since I am by no means a good photographer. The road to that region is still long and far away. Hoping it's not too windy, though.

I'm merely a simple man leading a simple life with simple aims and simple pictures.

That said, do I think photography is simple? Well... sometimes. A simple press of one button, and hoozey kadoozey, we get a picture! Its that very mundane, bare nature of it that snares my heart sometimes. Yes, taking pictures is sometimes as plain as just hitting the shutter button and hoping you've got something good. Some call it intuition. I call it luck.

Directed luck.

I imagine it would take a fair bit of luck to keep this blog going, to capture and immortalize the works of God's worthy hands.
